The Doctor's Kitchen Podcast

I'm late to share this podcast episode where I was interviewed by my dear fried, Rupay Aujla. I talk about being a voice for women of colour and also about the stigma that still surrounds the menopause. I share my lived experience of the menopause, about how changing my fitness training from mostly running-based fitness to include strength training completely shifted my weight. We also talk about women from South Asian backgrounds and why it’s still an uphill battle to break down the taboo of women’s health in general. This and also notes about spices and their medicinal properties, and how to combine flavourful ingredients for health and why the backbone of Indian cooking is healthier than most people think.
