Aloo Dum

Serves: 2 to 3 people

Cooking method

Boil the potatoes till cooked. Peel the potatoes and dice into one inch cubes

Heat oil in pan, add nigella seeds, grated ginger and cook for a minute on medium heat

Add chopped tomatoes, cook to 3 to 4 minutes.

Add turmeric, coriander powder, green chillies and salt to taste. Mix well.

Add the diced potatoes. Cook for 5 minutes and mix well.


5 medium potatoes
2 medium tomatoes chopped
2 Green chillies
1 tsp Grated ginger
4 tsp Rapeseed oil
½ tsp Tumeric powder
½ tsp Nigella seeds
1 tsp Coriander powder
Salt to taste
